I’ve always loved making things.
When I was five, I was already building stuff in my dad’s garage - figuring out screws, building rigs to attach my GoPro to my bike.
I didn’t know what design was back then. I just liked the feeling of creating something with my hands, to make something from idea to reality.
Fast forward - I launched a web design agency at 17, this allowed me to move out and get myself a beautiful apartment in the heart of Budapest.
Had no furniture, no clue what I was doing. I bought some stuff, but nothing worked together. Some things were too big, some too cheap, some just didn’t feel right.
Months later I ended up visiting a friend’s warehouse - they sell vintage Bauhaus furniture. (Check them out here)
No plan, just tagged along.
He showed me a few pieces and eventually pulled out…
…the Wassily chair designed by Marcel Breuer.
I think I stared at it for a good 15 minutes, then sat in it & fell in love.
Took it home and it was perfect.
That apartment became my quiet obsession.
And the obsession turned into learning. A lot of it.
Started learning about Bauhaus, discovering old designers, visiting countless museums.
Those few months made me realize I didn’t just want to design websites, I wanted to do something heavier - I wanted to design objects.
Things people live with.
Things that make a house feel like a home.
So I started sketching, 3d modeling, prototyping.
At first it was just for my apartment - shapes I couldn’t find, materials I wanted to live with or stuff I simply couldn’t afford.
I made a few pieces for my space and posted them on Instagram.
Suddenly friends started DMing me.
That was the moment I realized I need to go all in on this.
It was something people wanted - and something I needed to make.
That’s how Townhouse began.
Not with a plan, but with a few quiet pieces that made a space feel right.
Now I’m building it out - slowly, intentionally - one object at a time.
Fewer, better things.
Made to last.
Made to feel like home.
